VALENTINE'S DAY

The upper levels on the home making committee were involved in secretly decorating the dorms with red paper hearts and a few pieces of candy on each person's bed.
As we were going to decorate the dorms, we ran into a few obstacles.  We had to quietly sneak past dorm one because they were in their dorm.  We did manage to decorate their dorm though and it was fun to watch the girls' reactions when they walked into the dorms.  They were pleasently surprised when they found candy on their beds.

At 11:00 all of the girls and staff met at the big building to play games and participate in fun activities.  Some of the girls got face paintings while others simply enjoyed a game of cards.  Time flew by and before we knew it, it was time for lunch.

At two o'clock, all of the girls and staff met in the big building for another activity.  When we walked into the big building, the tables were decorated with cookies and many toppings for them.  As soon as Melanie said we could start everyone was digging in!  Cookies were over-flowing with icing, sprinkles, and fruit snacks.

Shortly after our sugar fiesta, it was time for recreation.  We were all so stuffed from the sugar that we were not looking forward to it.  But just as the entire day was fun, recreation was too!  We played a game called "balloon tag", which turned out to be alot of fun.  We all had a balloon tied to a string and that string was attached to our ankle.  One person was "it" and she did not have a balloon.  In order for her to tag someone, she had tp pop their balloon.  It was a lot of fun and very enjoyable.

After three rounds of balloon tag all of the girls campus went to the cabin to watch a movie together.
And after that, our Valentines Day celebration was over.  It was definetely a Valentines Day we will all remember.
